How does this work?

This search and browse functionality will help you navigate to information pages for specific medicines. From these medicines information pages, you can access RDS content and external sources relevant to a given medicine. These external sources have been selected based on stakeholder engagement, and include the British National Formulary, the Scottish Medicines Consortium and more. Please note that some of the external sources will require institutional access.

These medicines pages exist for medicines that have been explicitly indexed by an RDS editor within at least one toolkit. If a given medicine is not appearing in your search results, this means no content has been tagged with that medicine name.

To search the RDS more widely, use the search icon in the top right corner. This overall site search will discover any mention of a medicine on the RDS, however it will not present results from external sources and therefore may not contain all relevant information about the medicine.
